Well as far as 80s horror films go (we all know it was the best period for the horror genre) this one knocks it out of the park. It’s slow build up keeps you wondering if your seeing through the eyes of a disturbed individual or if the world around him is really just fucked up. Turns out it’s all society’s (the rich) fault! The rich are a different species than the rest of us near peasants. They like to eat slugs and transform into weird butt creatures or adopt children and raise them as there own until they make food eating!

The film culminates in a massive sex/cannibalistic orgy which has some of the greatest one liners your likely to hear in any horror.

Honestly this film is a blast, it can be a little tricky to follow in places and it shows it age, but overall a great and fun horror that doesn’t take it self too seriously.

I was shocked when I found out there wasn’t a sequel, someone needs to get on that.
