This will not take long, so The Big Blue is a 1988 film by Luc Besson and stars Jean Reno and Rosanna Arquette. It's about two men who like jumping into water. After 2 hours and 40 minutes of meaningless dross, that is about all I can tell you.
The best things about this film, is Luc Besson directed Leon, Jean Reno was in Leon, and Leon is a superb film, one of my all time favourites. Other good points, Rosanna Arquette was great in the restaurant robbery scene in Pulp Fiction. I like the ocean, and some of the underwater scenes have made me want to make a trip to see it again at some point. The ocean I mean, not this film, just to be clear.
This really has been a terrible waste of a Sunday morning, im glad I started this film at 7am so still have the rest of the day to enjoy better things. No plot or story here whatsoever, acting is very questionable, it is impossible to connect with any of the characters in this film, I can't even remember any of their names.
Avoid this at all costs, I score The Big Blue: 0 Le Grande Shits out of 5
Could you not connect with "Mama"? The overbearing Italian Mother who loved cooking spaghetti in hotel rooms for people she couldn't communicate with?
Yes still going strong 💪
I didn't think you'd do it but your commitment to this group is admirable. An accurate review too
